Welcome back reception! It seems like everybody has had a fantastic Christmas Holiday! We’ve been hearing a lot about the wonderful toys and gifts that Father Christmas brought you all! You’re all so lucky!

We’ve been having a really busy couple of weeks so far!

We have been investigating musical instruments and the different sounds that they make.

Just look at everyone trying out some new sounds! What instruments do you like to play?

We have really enjoyed dressing up as insects this week! We have even made a some dark and scary woods to walk through. We have really enjoyed the sound and feeling of the sugar paper as we have scrunched it and walked through it! It really feels like we are in the forest!

Our Theme has been ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ by Michael Rosen. We’re Going on a Bear Hunt 25th Anniversary Logo. We’re Going on a Bear Hunt Celebrating 25 Years Header Image. Illustration of man walking with three children.

We have really enjoyed this story!

This week at school we have been celebrating friendship week.

We went out into the playground to share a playground game with RM class. They taught us a game where we had to get the hoop around the circle but couldn’t let our hands go! It was tricky but we did it!

In class we have been trying really hard to treat our friends well. Today we spent a long time lining up and taking turns in a game we like to play.

We have done so much writing this week!

As you can see, We have been copying words related to our topic this week, Diwali; we have been writing our names, new sounds and so much more!

what do you like to write about?
